Cavisa is all about providing great financial support and service to our clients in the fast moving environment of business in Yorkshire today.

Steve is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He obtained an BA in Accounting & Financial Management at Sheffield University and went on to pass his professional exams whilst with Pannell Kerr Forster in Sheffield. An interesting three years followed in Bermuda working for Deloitte, the last 6 months of which was running the local office of a local firm of fabric traders and exemplified his desire to be involved in the commercial world.
On returning to the UK, Steve worked for Belzona International, a manufacturing company of specialised repair and coating compounds where he became the Company’s youngest Director at the age of 29. He served on the board for a further 15 years getting involved in every aspect of the running of £15 Million turnover international business. His responsibilities extended to IT and in 2006 following the departure of the UK Sales Director stepped into that role. He’s far too modest to mention that 2006 was the best year for UK sales since the turn of the century.
In 2007 Steve left to join Bond Bryan Architects at the time that the business underwent a Management Buy Out. He was responsible for the financial management of the business through a ten year period that has seen both terrific growth and severe contraction. Strategically involved in directing the business Steve has negotiated on behalf of the company with its bankers both in times of strain following the financial crash in 2009 and much more positively in 2015 due to sustained increase in fee income and staff numbers.
Things that Steve likes to talk about are Norwich City, sport generally and his brief career whilst in Bermuda as an international rugby player.
